Manners in Charity


(QS. Al Baqarah [2] : 261)


Dole may have become a habit and routines we all. Moreover, nowadays many who "promote" charity as one of the legitimate short cut tips to encourage provision increased more. All vying for charity with great hope there is much more reciprocity than is issued. Understanding this belief is certainly not a wrong thing, because one of the motivations of the Qur'an itself states clearly, as above.

It must be in charity that must be guarded not only of such enthusiasm and motivation, but we must perform a series of more Ihsan in charity. The teachings of Ihsan in all goodness, including alms are what the Prophet emphasized in the hadith : "Indeed Allah Almighty obliges Ihsan over all things". (Narrated by Muslim).

Ihsan in the charity we can fill it with running etiquette, as follows:

First, the sincere Intentions and understood the fact charity
The key to each charity are certainly subject to speculation. Don't be a tool looking for alms until popularity and sympathy from the public, because it could mean only that which would be obtained but zero in the afterlife. Almighty God has reminded those in the Quran :

(QS. Hud [11]: 15-16).

To maintain sincerity in our alms intentions will be easier when we can live and understand the nature of alms. Alms is actually a form of our gratitude for the good fortune and the blessings God has given us. Which with gratitude is precisely that grace will continue to grow. We must also understand that charity will also eliminate pride within us, feeling that every treasure we produce is the result of our own effort and intelligence. Dole also removes properties hunks in us, as well as foster a sense of caring and affection to each other. By understanding all of this, feelings and our intention in giving charity will be better tested and in place.

Second, consider a small charity, we remove
Some people feel that they have spent a lot of money and giving charity to others. In fact, sometimes this makes him nice to those who ask for alms to him. The concern in this case is when a person always mentions what he has given away, which inevitably shows the nature of Riya '(showing off) that can eradicate the charity. Allah SWT has reminded :

(QS. Al Baqarah [2] : 264)

The only thing to do is to underestimate and even forget what we have given away if necessary. It seems reasonable that we thank those who would be grateful to those who would accept our alms. Because it is a sign they believe fully the halal and holiness of property.

Third, do not hesitate and procrastinate

Almighty God motivates us to hasten and compete in the charitable kindness, without a doubt, shame, let alone procrastinate. We in remind through Word Him in the Quran :

(QS. Al Baqarah [2] : 133).

In goodness, in general, we recommended to hasten and compete as well as giving charity. Let alone the context of alms is in touch with other people, therefore the sooner we and hastening our alms, will be more beneficial to those in need. As for the charity by giving procrastination a lot of reasons, it will cause the nature of hunks in us. Though far away the Prophet Muhammad SAW has given the guarantee of the integrity of our wealth after alms, he said in the hadith: "Will not diminish the property of a servant for wherewithal". Shame and Faith



Shame is the feeling of nature or fortify a person from doing the lower or less politely. Islam instructs adherents have ashamed can improve the morals of a person being high. People who do not have the nature of shame, their ways will be low and unable to control his lusts.

Bashfulness is the hallmark of the morals of the faithful. The person who has this trait when committing mistakes or inappropriate for him will show remorse. Conversely, a person who has no shame feel okay when make mistakes and Sin even though a lot of people know about it.

Islam puts shame as part of faith. The faithful must have the nature of shame. People who don't have any means, no faith in him despite his tongue told the faithful.

The Prophet (PBUH) said, "faith is more than 70 and 60 branches. The highest is a branch of faith ' La ilaha illallah say ', and the lowest branches of the faith are to remove distractions (Burr) from the road, and shame is a branch of faith. " (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim).

The nature of shame needs to be shown someone in all the activities of life. Through it, a person can refrain from dishonorable deeds, despicable, and vile. Through bashfulness, someone will try to find the treasure that is lawful and will regret it when Miss goodness. When someone has lost water, gradually his behaviour would be bad, then decline to the worse, and continued to glide down from lowly to even more abject to the lowest degree.

The Prophet said: "Allaah when he wants to destroy someone, he was revoking the shame of that person. If the taste of the water was already revoked, you don't find him excepting hated. If it does not meet him unless it was from him, was hated by the nature of the mandate. When the nature of the mandate already stripped from him, then it will be found himself unless the traitor and betrayed. If already a betrayal and betrayed, was the one of his grace. If grace is already deprived of it, will not isolate except the damned cursing. When the damned are condemned already repealed it, then finally in Islamic bonds disconnect him. " (Narrated By Ibn Maajah)

There are three kinds of shame to be attached to a person.

First, Shame to yourself when doing a bit pious to God's charity and kindness to people than anyone else. Shame this encouraging increase quantity of charity and devotion to God and the people.

The second, shame to mankind, is important because it can control themselves in order not to violate religious teachings, although concerned does not acquire the reward due to the water not because of God. However, embarrassed like this can give you a kindness to him from God because he preserved from sin.

Third, Shame to God. This embarrassed the best and can bring happiness of life. People ashamed to God, will not dare to commit offences and leave this for trusting God always on guard.

Given the important nature of shame as a fortress of preserving moral person and main source of goodness, then this property should be owned and well preserved. Nature of shame can preserve one's faith.
